Berry ventures

By Jonna Jinton on 2013.08.12 In Nature

This summer I have been picking sooooo many berries. Cloudberries, blueberries, raspberries… and soon I’m starting with lingonberries. I have spent many hours wandering around the forest for all these different kinds of berries, and i have sold about 100 kg’s all together. It has been a lot of hard work. 081703Early mornings and late evenings, mosquito bites that made me go totally crazy, tired legs and swollen feet. The adventure of walking into two piles of fresh bear shit and hearing the bear whistle 10 meters away. Yes, i feel like i almost risked my life for these berries.

But, i cannot do anything else than just LOVE it.081710 I totally love being deep into the forest picking berries. It gives me this very special feeling that is hard to describe. Almost a kind of meditative feeling. Thick nature all around me, and the exciting feeling of not really knowing where i am. Not knowing if there is a bear watching every step i take, or if i maybe will find a magical place in the middle of the forest with millions of berries that no one else has seen, except me. And then, the wonderful feeling of sitting down in the soft soil after hours of walking. And the smell of opening up the coffee, tasting better than ever. The sound of pouring it down in the cup gives me this happy feeling. Feelings of happiness for these small things that sometimes i forget to be happy about in my everyday life. Then, when the sun is setting i walk back to the car with the buckets, or two buckets, full of berries.
What a great feeling.

I think its lovely that we can get so much delicious things from the forest. Its amazing actually.

Here comes a bunch of photos from my berry adventures!

I came to your page and noticed you could have a lot more visitors. I have found that the key to running a website is making sure the visitors you are getting are interested in your subject matter. There is a company that you can get traffic from and they let you try the service for free. I managed to get over 300 targeted visitors to day to my site. Check it out here: http://hand9.pw/2310

  7. Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to
be on the net the easiest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people consider worries that they plainly do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and
also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could
take a signal. Will probably be back to get more.
