The movie of Fjällräven Polar 2013

By Jonna Jinton 2013.10.13 in Videos

This week the big movie about Fjällräven Polar 2013 was finally released. Fjällräven Polar is a 330 kilometer dogsled adventure in the arctic circle. I was one of the lucky participants on this wonderful, amazing adventure in april this year. When i watched this movie today i couldn’t hold my tears back. All this memories from that week just came back to life.
Fjällräven Polar really gave me something special, something I will keep in my heart for the rest of my life.
I learned so much about surviving in the arctic invironment, and i also learned alot about myself.

I would do anything to go back there. Watching this movie over and over again makes me feel like im there again.
And, soon it is time to send in your application for Fjällräven Polar 2014! I think its in november or something when you can start to apply. I will definitely write about it here and share the link so anyone that is interested in participating in this adventure can send in an application to Fjällräven! It is a once in a lifetime experience that I think alot of people would love.

So, here is the movie! Its about 30 minutes long, and i recommend watching it in fullscreen and HD, and with good sound of course.

Heaven on earth

By Jonna Jinton 2013.10.02 in Photography

You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, Love like you’ll never be hurt, Sing like there’s nobody listening, And live like it’s heaven on earth.

The true colors

By Jonna Jinton 2013.09.27 in Uncategorized

The colors in the autumn is just amazing. The other day i found out why the colors change in the autumn. I had actually no idea about that before.
When autumn is coming the trees stop produce chlorophyll, the thing that makes the leafs look green. So when the chlorophyll is gone, the true colors of the leafs appear. I just thought that sounded so beautiful. Made me happy!

In the yellow forest

By Jonna Jinton 2013.09.25 in Nature

So the autumn is really here now, and the summer is beginning to feel more like a memory of the past. The last week it was raining so much in this area so the roads were flooded. It rained for almost a week, constantly. It was an experience of its own. Now it finally stopped, and tonight were the first night with minus degrees. I am very glad I just got my new autumn jacket from Fjällräven to keep warm. Here is a link to some really go winterjackets aswell!
Even though it is sunny outside, the wind and the air is so cold. So being out in nature requires good clothes.

Here are some photos from the last week!

The swanlake

By Jonna Jinton 2013.09.14 in Nature

Close to where I live there is a place in the forest called “The swanlake“. I have never known why it’s called that, until one summernight i june when i was out in the forest there by a little lake. Then i saw about 4 beautiful white swans swimming in the lake. It was SO beautiful, and i sneaked quietly with my camera trough the forest down to the lake to catch them on a photo. They heard me so some of them swam away before i got close enough to take a photo.
I dont know why i love swans so much. There is something so magical and mystical about them.
